My Darling Love
I got a letter from you at Cambridge this morning and another when I arrived here — I am very thankful your time is going all so well. Now I suppose you are on your way home. Thank you I will come this evening at 9.30 — oh what a joy it will be. — I shall dine here tonight to test the capacity of my charlady as a cook; so if you are too tired you can send round word for me not to come. I am going to lunch with Sanger in the Temple.
I think Mr Barbone’s sofa will be all right. Poor man, his feelings seem sadly hurt.
Your finger is a nuisance — I hope it isn’t going to be seriously troublesome.
Darling Darling I am longing to be with you.a I can’t tell you how I hunger for you my Love.
