My Darling Darling

Your letter which reached me this morning was short but sweet. It is good that you come home today. Yes I will be at Bedford Square at 11.30 tomorrow. I wrote to Mrs Pope-Hennessey saying I would leave Waterloo 5.30. What time you can’t have me I can spend on getting rooms. I can’t yet really realize that I shall see you tomorrow really and actually.

I wrote two letters to Paris yesterday on the chance of your staying till tomorrow. You may get one of them tho’ I doubt it, but certainly not the other.

I had a vast crowd at my Thursday evening yesterday and the talk was pleasant. Moore came and a good many of my lecturees. — This morning I had Ogden to breakfast. We have postponed the P.S.F. meeting we were to have had, and Chesterton is to have the Guildhall that night. Ogden undertakes to do all the work for a meeting next term. This is a great comfort to me.

I am going up now to look at rooms in Gray’s Inn — I go back to Cambridge this evening.

Darling Love it seems useless to write when I shall see you so soon. Oh what joy it will be. I cannot express a quarter of it. Goodbye my Beloved.
