Friday night
My Darling Love
Your most wonderful letter was here when I came back — Yes, there is something new — something greater than ever before — it is so perfect and so deep. It is with me every moment like a holy presence. Yes I feel just the same sacred and mystical joy in that kiss — it is strange how little of the physical there is in it — the physical is swallowed up in the other.
Today was quite quite wonderful — what we have now is beyond all that I had ever imagined. I do not mind the outward incompleteness now — it seems to have become such a tiny thing.
I shall be here all the morning, unless you send word you would rather I came to Bedford Square.
Your letter is infinitely precious to me, my Darling. I long to be with you again tomorrow. Goodnight my loved one.
Your
B.
