My Dearest Heart
I am not sure the next post will reach you tomorrow morning so I am writing just a line now in great haste. I hope for a letter from you by 2nd post. This place is lovely and very invigorating. I hope to get through lots of work and lots of walking. North and I have much pleasant talk — mostly impersonal, on economics, philosophy and so on. He is very much interested in philosophy.
I have stacks of proofs of the big book this morning, and have had to write stacks of letters on various business and sloppy subjects. Even here it is hard to get much time for my own writing. I shall be glad when the printing of the big book is finished.
Now post is going. Goodbye my Beloved. You are with me in my thoughts every instant. I love you utterly and absolutely.
