My Darling
I have just a moment to write a line to thank you for your dear dear letter. No, external things absolutely don’t matter — I love to hear things from you because something of you comes with them, but otherwise they would not count compared to inward things. I will get a book for Julian as soon as I can and write in it. I shall love the flowers. Darling your letters are too wonderful and delightful.
My teaching of Karin was somewhat disturbed by her getting two telegrams saying Ray is engaged to Oliver Strachey. I am delighted — it will be the best thing possible for Ray, and I should think she would suit Oliver. He is very nice indeed. I was afraid she wouldn’t marry.
Please don’t let the little table be a bother to you.
Goodbye my Darling my Dearest. This must be posted. I love you with all my being. Yours in all my thoughts.
