Dear Mr. Brandt

Many thanks for cheque for $31.50 duly received.

With regard to “Is America becoming imperialistic?”, please publish it wherever you can get it accepted. I quite realize that, the Century having failed, there is a very limited market, but I am anxious to have it printed in America for other than financial reasons, though of course I shall be glad to get whatever you can secure in the way of payment. I dare say The Nation would take it; I feel more doubt about The New Republic.

Please write to me in future at above address.

Yours sincerely
Bertrand Russell.
