Dear Mr. Ross,
We have been following your efforts with great interest and approval. Your work on Vietnam has been extremely helpful to our own efforts. I should like to ask you if you would feel able to begin a branch of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation in New Zealand and to assume chairmanship of this branch.
I enclose for your attention a draft of our Annual Report. I must point out that this is only a draft and is not ready for publication release. There are some additions to be made. Would you, therefore, use this solely for your own information for the time being. I very much hope that you will find it possible to join our work in the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation by preparing a Branch Office in New Zealand. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
With good wishes,
Yours sincerely,
<signed> Bertrand Russell
