Dear Mr. Berlin,
We have heard that you are going home on which I felicitate you — but if you are still here my husband and I would both like to see you.
I believe you sometimes go to New York for the week-end. If you are doing so the week-end of the 6th, could you stop off here — we are having a party on the evening of the 6th for Hans Reichenbach, who is coming from California — a talking party as opposed to the typical Princeton party which is amorous but inarticulate —. At least I intend it to be a talking party and your presence is therefore highly desirable. We could put you up for the night.
Yours sincerely
Patricia Russell.
If you can’t come then, I hope you will look us up some time before I go home.
Bertrand Russell.
