Dear Mr Cairns
I shall be glad to do an Introduction of about three typewritten pages to Feibleman’s book on Peirce,1 assuming that I think well of the book when I see it, and on the understanding that the fee is $200. How many words are supposed to go to a typewritten page?
I am glad to have your news of Freda. I wonder how she will like Chungking when she gets there.
Warmest regards from us both.
Yours sincerely
Russell.
P.S. I think it is ten to one that I shall like Feibleman’s book.
