This letter, no. 53, pp. 74-5, was prepared for a literary collection of their letters. It uses a fictional initial "M". Colette has added to the text as well as inking out some words. The ribbon copy is also present: document .201163, record 116282. It contains many more changes than this carbon does.

The letter is vaguely related to letter no. 217kh, document .014579hk, record 113153, in the Urch typescript. An extract which it is similar to the letter in the Urch typescript also exists, document .201208, record 116697.
