My Aunt, Mrs. Emil Brudno, brought celebrated persons like Lord Russell, Clarence Darrow etc. to an organizational lecture series on a voluntary basis. I believe Lord Russell stayed at their home ... (Dr. Brudno's). I recall when Lord Russell was here ... my uncle told me that he said he was going upstairs to prepare his lecture and would be there for about an hour. In a few minutes he came down, and my uncle asked him why he came down so soon.
