A "with the Poor Rate Collector's compliments" card was inserted between pp. 606-7 of Sidney and Beatrice Webb's English Local Government from the Revolution to the Municipal Corporations Act: the Parish and the County (Russell's Library, no. 2530). The numbers 91 and 169 have been written on the back of the card in what may be BR's hand with the pages accordingly marked with a vertical line.
