Notes and topics

Alexander tells a story of a friend she corresponded with, who was in the Marines. She says that the Marines injected diodes in their necks which made them get information but also forget in case they are caught by the enemy. The information collected was on enemy positions, troop numbers, supplies and everything else concerning the military. After her friend had an accident he was no longer allowed to write to her, only to her parents and her sister.
