A form letter to accompany proofs, specifying duplicate galleys 195-206 and copy. Printer's errors are to be marked in a different colour. Galleys 183-94 have been received, "corrected for revise page". The book title is now Western Philosophical Thought (i.e. the History). The former title was retained as the left running head of the 1st and 2nd UK editions.
