The Shahanshah régime informs BR that the arrests of Persian demonstrators "bears no relation to the political realities of the situation in Persia." They feel it is propaganda and that the demonstrators consisted of instigators who created disturbances amongst a small body of students from the University of Teheran. The government believes that its actions are in the best interests of Iran.
