Moreover I am tired of having all my opinions accounted for by my Whig ancestry, and desire to see how they are taken when not supposed to be mine."
For Sedgwick's reply, see record 83315. BR evidently used "Philolethes" as his nom de plume. In 1918 he had used "Philalethes" (record 2873), which means "lover of truth". "Philolethes" may be misreading of BR's ms.
