Whincop asks if the writer of an offprint, Eric Graham House, may call on BR.
She knew BR in 1924-25 when he used to pick up his child from Mrs. Spencer's kindergarten in London, and she and family spent 2 happy summers in Cornwall with the Russells. In 1941 or 1942 [sic] he came to see if "The Pense" would suffice as a preparatory school [for Conrad], but it wouldn't.
