"G.J.—why no news? Do you think I have forgotten? It is you, only you—all my love."
[On July 16 Colette wrote BR that "a man came from Scotland Yard to ask about 'G.J.' and the 'Times'. But that sort of thing is quite usual nowadays, and I expect no further bother."]
