BR answers various questions re A.N. Whitehead. "... I never heard Whitehead talk about any of his teachers and I have no idea what he thought of them. ... I am sorry that I never kept drafts of any letters to Whitehead, nor did he keep drafts of his letters. ... I do not know anything about my letter to which Whitehead alludes me to in his letter of December 5, 1905. I probably do possess a copy of Whitehead's letter to me on conscientious objection ... I am pretty sure that Whitehead was among those who subscribed for my lectures in London just after the end of the First War. .... We remained completely good friends down to the day of his death."
