Mary E. Lowndes, 1863-1947, a cousin of Marie Belloc Lowndes' husband, is headmistress of Rosemary Hall School, Greenwich, Connecticut. She asks BR to speak on philosophy to the Greenwich College Women's Club, and lecture on citizenship or democratic ideals "to our youngsters". (It is not known whether BR did speak to the school.)
