Also, in The Fortnightly Review, she mentions how Ezra Pound wrote that "Tom is one of two of the most intelligent writers". She thanks BR for the opportunity he gave her son to join the Aristotelian Society. She would like Tom to obtain his Ph.D. as is planned in May because in the U.S. it is becoming a prerequisite for academic positions; then, he could stop working as a teacher with low social standing—"It is like putting Pegasus into harness."
