Emery feels that the dispute is between two economic systems of society, one based on private property, capital and free enterprise in the production of goods, and the other based on the opposite.
Emery agrees with BR on the subject of class war and that he too believes that it is useless. He does, however, object to the way BR identifies the defence of the wage system under private property and private enterprise as a defence for the rich. Emery thinks that under a socialistic régime there will be a continuous sense of injustice.
