Notes and topics

Jourdain sends Carus "... an article 'On Human Immortality' by myself which is a skit on some of Russell's work, and which might go in Lond Primer in the Monist. ... With regard to the skit on Russell, I am having part of it printed in the Cambridge Magazine, as it will be a good advertisement for his Lowell Lectures."
"Also Russell told me that he had been accused by Bergsonians that, if only he had been a Bergsonian, he would not have adopted the poor spirited pacifist attitude which he adopts at present."
