Dear Mr. Christesen,
Thank you for your letter of March 20 and for the copy of Meanjin. I am sorry that I am too full up with work already undertaken to undertake an article on Charles Frankel’s book.
I am very doubtful whether a Review such as you suggest would have any success in England. The various attempts in a similar direction that I have known of have all come to grief for financial reasons. I could not therefore advise you to enter upon such a project.
