Re the Jacob Epstein exhibition at the Tate Gallery. Edith provides a quotation for possible use in the exhibit of the bust of BR. "My husband and Epstein met one morning outside the Tate Gallery. Epstein remarked: 'I thought there could be only one such profile.' To which my husband replied: 'No, you are mistaken, there are two: one made by the Almighty and the other by Epstein.' Edith also sent an Ida Kar print of a photograph of BR for use in the exhibit.
