Birkbeck is concerned about a receipt which Clements alleges he has in his possession and requests a photostat. They have enclosed a copy of the letter in which Clements makes this claim as well as a copy of their own letter in case Farley wants to send it to Schoenman. The copies remain in the file, suggesting he did not.
