This complete letter from Alys Russell was written on the day BR heard that he had won his prize fellowship at Trinity College. The printout of the letter is stapled to the first page of BR's letter (record 132308). Alys says of BR's triumph: "B. and I are going to Frank's cottage for Sunday. I am too happy about the Fellowship to write more." She had already mentioned her trip to Liverpool with "Auntie".
BR's letter is written first, followed by Alys's. There aren't two physical letters.
The copy of this letter was replaced with the original in 2026.
