Also in the file is a "Statement of Albert C. Barnes" on 10 October 1940 refuting the story in the Philadelpia Evening Ledger that the collection of the Barnes Foundation will be given to the University of Pennsylvania. Copies of the statement were also sent to the Bulletin and the Ledger as well as to BR.
