This letter was hand-delivered to BR by Mason. There is no evidence the letter ever arrived at McMaster with Russell Archives 2, but it was quoted at length in "Private Memorandum on Ralph Schoenman", which Ronald Clark reprinted in the appendix of his Life of Bertrand Russell, pp. 647-8.
A photocopy of the latter has been placed in the file with BR's reply, which was obtained from Mason (record 119151).
