Notes, topics or text
Davies received a letter the previous day from Maw, in response to Davies' letter of January 25, conveying BR's desire to know if Dora plans to continue the school at Telegraph House. Davies states, "It is out of consideration for Lady Russell that Lord Russell is asking to know as soon as possible whether she would wish to continue the tenancy for the school.... If she wishes it to go on, Lord Russell will accept her as a tenant on the footing that the annuity of £400 will be applied in paying the rent."
