Regarding the quinquennial valuation of Telegraph House and cottage, Withers says, "In the circumstances, we agree with you, that is probably the rateable value to which the present valuation relates, and if this is increased to an extent beyond the present schedule "A" assessment, it is quite possible that the latter may be increased also. However, it would not appear that anything can be done at the moment."
