The enclosed letter is a copy (TL(CAR)) of a letter Mrs. Greene received from German prisoners of war on H.M.T. Royal Edward. The prisoners' committee signed the letter: von Horst, von Nettlebladt, and R. Heckmann. The prisoners were grateful for Christmas presents, partly funded by Lady Ottoline.
