BR thanks Ladd-Franklin for a copy of what she wished to quote from him and approves it. (The extracts are at record 77842.) "My views on solipsism are full of doubt...." She does not seem to have published the article she had in mind.
He also thanks her for "her kindness about my remarks on the war. I am utterly ashamed of their feebleness and futility. One ought to be able to speak words that would be more powerful than battleships and have more effect than masses of great guns."
